Is sex the god of this earth? Do people worship sex more than anything else? Why is porn a billion dollar industry? Prostitution too. Why are the latest t.v. skanks more well known than the teachings of Jesus Christ? Why are we bombarded with sexual images from all directions. Is sex the goddess of the world?

spookerific. I never claimed the sex industry is the most lucrative, but have you ever seen how much they rake in? You'd be shocked. It is right up there in the same ball park as the oil companies are making. Check it out for yourself. The sex industry is not just porn and prostituion you know. It touches many other aspects of our lives, including much of the entertainment industry. Sexuality heavily influences our fashion industry, music, arts and the theatre. I am not saying that is good or bad, but it is present. Dont take such a narrow view when I say "sex industry". Thanks.

psycobug, ive always thought of money as being paper. The power is what one does with the money. If one uses money to do things to get sex, ie buy a nice car to get the babes, buy clothes for the babes, etc. that makes my point. Many things revolve around sex, or getting sex, or making oneself more attractive to the other sex. Why do guys spend hours in the gym to get buff? To lift car engines for fun? No. They want the girls to dig their bodies. Its all about the sex.

I would'nt go so far as to say that sex is the god of the earth,but you have to remember why it is so popular. It serves one of our basic survival needs as human beings.That said,it is why it is more popular than Jesus Christ's teachings, because his tachings fullfill a spiritual need(love) as opposed to a primal need(sex). People who lack a strong spirit, will always tend to be driven more by bassic human survival needs.

No, it's NOT sex that seems to get more and more dominant. It's the work of Satan! I think as believers of God, regardless of our genders and races, we should keep our minds, souls, and bodies pure because our bodies are the temple of God. Sex IS a gift from God so humans can be fruitful, but too bad sex has become something more than a gift for married couples. People have become too casual with sex. It's a great shame!!! Good that you brought this up. Glad to know there's someone out there who feels the same way about sexual misconduct like I do.
