You will be able to get a permit as long as your boyfriend is ready to file for you. Not that hard as long as you meet the requirements and show that you're actualy married.

Going from a work visa to a permanent residency status / green card is a tough step. Your boyfriend being married, it will only make matters more complicated for him...
You may have to be outside of the USA to obtain a dependent visa, I don't think you could change status without leaving the country and re-entering...

It may help, but it won't guarantee you the right to live here, and it's a horrible reason to get married. Go to http://uscis.gov . They list a lot of information on the website, and I believe they also have a link to lawyers (and it sounds like you may need one) who specialize in immigration law. Some will supposedly even help for free or for a minimal fee.

look if you are illegal and he only has a working permit you can not stay he would have to be 100% legal citizen. best thing to do is go through the legal immigration system. if you dont it is a fellony to reside in the states as an illegal citizen.

No, you'll still be illegal. If you marry a legal citizen, there might be an exception I don't know of, but not with the question you are posing.

if you marry one with a working visa, you should be able to obtain a dependent's visa like H-4. worry about the greencard later, fix your situation first.

I'll tell you what you shouldn't be doing...
asking serious questions about your immigration issue here on ANSWERS.
All you will get on here is "You are illegal so leave."
You need to get yourself an immigration lawyer to help you wade through the cesspool that is our immigration system. Good luck.

No, you won't...and if you're an illegal immigrant, I hope you get deported. It's because of people like you that people like my mom get screwed over and nearly lose their jobs and rights.

sorry I can't help you with your problem but I just wanted to comment that your grammar is better than most Americans (you know the correct way to use "too")
(I don't think that marring him will help until he is a citizen.)
Good Luck! :)

You may or may not be able to get it. Someone I know did just that and she was still denied.
