Do you think the USA should slow all immigration,?

Flash Virus, the only inhabitants of North America before the Native Americans came here were the dinosaurs, no one is more Native to the USA than we are (I'm Cherokee). We didn't need government until white man came. There were wars among the tribes, so what's your point? That is irrelevant.

If we slowed immigration until we could recoup some of the BILLIONS illegal immigrants have cost us, we could turn the downspiral of our economy and get it back in the right direction.

They should stop it until we can get a handle on things, and then open it up as a a slow trickle.

Someone suggested that we should use Mexico's policy because it works for them....I hope it will never happens !Sure...it works for them because they do not know about freedom ! I think, like many others have already suggested, that it should be slowed, until we ( or our politicians ) figure what to do.. I also think it should be reasonably distribute with other races, rather than Mexicans and Asian ,of which USA abounds....At the present rate we better prepare our self to learn the Spanish and Asian language.....

yeah, i think its time to slow down immigration so the people who have immigrated for the last 10 years or so can have a chance assimilate into American society. if we keep accepting peoples from the worlds, what is American identity? what is American culture? i know it is made up of a mix of culture but if one group makes up more than others it no longer becomes a blend of cultures like America should be. we need to have a common culture in America again...its not about white, black, Latino, Asian, native American, etc...its about being an American, not a black American not a Latino America not an Asian American, an AMERICAN, plain an simple

I think we need to STOP illegal immigration but no need to slow legal immigration. Legal immigration is what our country is about.... we should NOT punish those who are waiting to enter this country legally just because others are disregarding our laws.

Unfortunately, we have made a mess out of our own system. We need to get it under control!

I think it should be slowed until they really know how many are here and how we would educate new ones as well as our own in border states.

I certainly think immigration shouldn't be more than DOUBLED as the Senate Bill would do, wholly apart from the amnesty issue.

Yes. I think it all should stop immediately until we can figure out a system that will work. I would suggest that we use Mexico's immigration policy. It works for them!

the native americans came here from asia, it isn't really their land and quite frankly i don't think they deserved it. They never built a real government society and always fought among other tribes (peaceful?).

I think USA should be pickier about who they let in. Take the best and brightest from other countries IMO.
