No, at that point I am rethinking passing the semi on the shoulder, going 95mph while talking on the phone, playing with my iPod, drinking a pepsi and reapplying my lipstick...

multitasking will be the death of me.

if you honestly think that the state you live in gives a rats as$ about your life then you are goofier than the politicians who thought the law up in the first place. I do agree with the child safety seats but if I can get on my motorcycle in a pair of shorts, sandals and as long as I have some sort of eye protection on them I am good to go. No need for a helmet your head doesn't hit the pavement in a bike wreck.Any way the seat belt law is nothing more than an easy revenue collection tool for the states. Easy money that's what its all about. Money not safety

i dont like seat belts. i wear mine, but i dont like it.

my brother was in an accident and didn't have his belt on (he laid down on the seat). the police said that he would be dead if he WAS wearing it.

i guess they work for the most part.

And won't those one or two moments seem endless, yes. You could probably even hum that old: "Buckle up for safety, buckle up. Buckle up for safety, always buckle up."
