I think using deodorant doesn't really base on specific age but a stage in life which is puberty. Some matures quick and some body develops a little longer. So whenever you feel like your body is reacting to subtances and producing odor, then probably it would be appropriate to use body odor prevention which is in this case a deodorant... :-)

I started my daughter to using it when she was 12. There shouldn't be a specific age. The earlier the better. It should be a part of daily good grooming.
