Like you I pray daily that God would lift me into his arms and carry me home; but then he reminds me that he's not through with what he has for me to do. I have seizures, as many as 4 to 5 a day, and therefore may lose as many as six hours a day of memory - it is very hard for me as I'm constantly wondering if I even had a day, but knowing full well that I am God's daughter and that the Holy spirit resides within me, and knowing that "I" feel like a burden to my family, God is teaching far greater lessons to those around me. We may not always like the situation God places us in or how he allows our flesh to be used, but our Spirit is his, so who are we to be anything less than content. That might not bring you much comfort other than to know you are not alone - you have my permission to contact me if you would like to share more personally you're experiences, as God has had me writing poetry for 20 years that deals with so many issues that I'm sure it is no coincidence he has had me online at this point in time to answer your question. Heavenly Father, I empathize with this one as you know I too beg with each unconscious state to slip on into your abode, but you keep rudely(!) sending me back to these who I love and who are still needing taught of your mercy and grace, and I am glad each time you send someone into my life, as I can no longer get out, to share how wonderful and merciful you are! Bring a contentment and peace that passeth understanding into this ones life as you have mine. Amen.

If you are a serious and committed Christian you would know that the Bible teaches us to be diligent while we are here on earth. Yes, there is a longing to go home, but if you are a student of the Bible then you would know that we are not to be concerned and consumed by things that would keep us from the work at hand, even if they are thoughts about heaven.
Focus on the task at hand. Keep your guard up because it is at moments like this that the Enemy will try to destroy you.

Sorry, but no, persecution is our lot in this life. God will take you to heaven when He is ready. His will, not ours. There is a prayer though, that God will hear and answer. Pray for strength, wisdom, understanding and the will to go on..... God Bless

Hi, I am a Christian too. Perhaps you should pray to him to take you. It is his decision if he does. It may not come today or tonight but someday it will come.. Being a christian you know God will attend matters in his own chosen time, so you must be patient and wait for him.
Please write me and let me know what has brought you to this point. My love and prayers will be with you.

Read the Psalms. David wrote many of them and I think you'll find a kindred spirit in there. He wanted to die one day and then was on top of the world the next, full of praise. A David was a man after God's own heart. The key is, he told God how he felt. He knows anyway. Just lay it on the line to Him.

I am curious what your age is...you sound very depressed, and there is help for depression, I have delt with it too. In answer to your question: I believe God has a plan for each one of us, and he will bring you home to rest with him when the time is right. I have felt the same way as you do, but pray he will help you through your tough times and he will, in the mean time try finding someone proffessional to talk to about your depression. I will pray for you right now.

Listen, if God wanted you in Heaven, then He would take you, So if you are still here, then He wants you here. Not trying to be funny, but maybe God wants you to do what he expects from you, and that is to be a witness for him and show LOVE to those that are not loved. (If you've done it to the least of them, then you've done it unto me)So just Trust Him that He knows what is best for you, Ok? GOD BLESS!!

Just be honest with God, God can handle it. It sounds like you are going through a difficult time, but that doesn't mean you are really ready to "finally rest with God." Find someone you can talk to who can help you through this time. Don't do anything drastic, this too shall pass.

stay strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might.
This is a test my fellow believer in Christ, a test to see if you really believe in His word and the promises God gave you. Believe in His word and it will soon be over with.
the bible says that who's mind is stayed on the Lord, him
He will keep in perfect peace.
and that I can say out of own experiences.
continue to fight the good fight of faith and run the race like you know how. don't you know that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loved you.
Jesus is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Stay blessed and highly favored, because that is what you are!
