With all due respect, (Not sure you deserve any since you don't give your hired help any) you sound like a racist Jerk too! So What if he's Hispanic? not all hispanic people jumped the border to get here you know. He's a human being too, and you should at least respect that. You're a grown man aren't you? clean your apartment yourself! you need the toilet unclogged, call the Plumber! it's not like he's asking for a paid vacation, and why can't he ask for one day off?
Hey look at it this way, one day off is 8hrs. x $5.00 less you're able to save right? as of "IS it fair" or not, If fair is giving him a day off and stop acting like a spoiled jerk about it, Yes it's fair. If it means that you can treat him like crap just cuz of his race and that you hired him, then NO it ain't fair.

Your not fair at all. You pay a man only $5.00 an hour (which I under the federally allowed minimum wage) and then you laugh at it. Then you have the audacity to act like your so big and probalby a mean white man with attitude. You should go jump off a cliff and hope you don't survive and spare us your bs.

Maybe you should hire someone else so that your janitor, (that works for less than minimum wage) can have a day off and enjoy life a little, what if you had to work every day and never had time to realx?

its fair that u pay him $5 but u need to let him have a day off, so that he can spend time with his family. can you imagine how hard that would be for you if u were in his shoes and that u could not have a day off at all. no time for family, no time for making love with you wife. no nothing!!!! lol

If he's an illegal alien you should consider lowering his pay to .05/hour like he gets in his own country.
Do you know how bad you're screwing the rest of us? For each hour he works he uses $20-30 dollars in services from taxpayers - and he's not one.
