I just use the jarred sauces; there's that many now, that you can choose anything you want, anything from the typical tomato sauce to a cream or alfredo sauce. Just add some diced veggies to the sauce whan you're originally heating it; some onion, carrot, zuchinni, mushrooms, whatever you want (cook the hamburger first, add the veggies, stir fry those for a few minutes, then add the sauce).
As for the cheeses, a half and half mix of Ricotta and Mozzerella. You either can use the intant noodles that you don't jhave to cook or the pre-cook ones. Place a layer of noodles down in a square/rectangle cake pan (glass works best, but whatever); then a layer of the 50/50 mix of the cheeses, then a layer of sauce over that, and repeat. When you reach the top, grate a little more mozzerella over the top, as well as some parmesan cheese; and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes, depending on your oven. Until cheese is melted through.
It's simple as, and absolutely wonderful, a hit with all my family, my hubby is always asking for this, he loves it.
