I've researched this stuff and I read that daisy and crossman are the best and I saw the powerline 901 and it looks like a good gun and it's very affordable. Would this be a good gun with little prior experience? Not like you need experience to shoot a gun though but I'm just sayin...

The Powerline series are great guns, that's what me and my friends had growing up (I'm 27) and I still use mine with my niece and nephew and it works as well as when I got it, 15+ years ago

your talking about a pellet/bb gun right.... I want to clarify something, I am vary much a gun lover, (I have slept with one before) But when its time for the real thing, everyone should receive training... I dont care if it is grandpa, as long as he has experiance

good for a begginer, but dont take my opinion... try this website for details of different guns...
