The first thing I did was give up on all the Starbucks, sweet tea and soda. I droped 10 pounds with out even trying. Now I drink water most of the time, black coffee and crystal light the rest. I tried to drink a soda a week or so ago and almost got sick! I also hit the gym but even just walks around the block (malls open early for this too) will help. No white bread! There is nothing good for you in it. Try to eat food that looks as close to how nature made it as possible. Every once in a while I will go a week with only raw foods, I never fail to lose less than 5 pounds. Lose weight slowly, I know you want to lose it fast, but if you lose it fast you will gain it fast! In the last 5 months I have lost 20 pounds, gone from a size 12 down to a 6 or even a 4 in some things. I know it doesn't sound like a lot of weigh and it's not, but I have made life style changes that will help me through out the rest of my life. Good Luck to you!

the south beach diet really works. my mom tried it (shes 50) and she lost 20 pounds in around 1 month. the food is good too.
