this is going to sound weird, but my friend's doctor told her to use Preparation H because the hydrogen dries up the sore really, really fast. she swears by it.

Your doctor can order you some medication that is wonderful for drying them up. Works much better and much faster than any of the over the counter stuff. But in some cases, no matter what meds you use, it can take as long as a month for it to go away. Oh, and don't be freaked if when you get the medicine from the doctor, it might have herpes listed on the box as for what it is for. Fever blisters/cold sores are in the herpes family. Just not the std herpes.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/Cureherpes2o15xkkI

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

First, make sure that it is a fever blister, and not a cold sore. If this "fever blister" is a recurring thing, then you might want to see a dermatologist. He or she will probably prescribe Valtrex for you to take so that it will supress the virus that is giving you cold sores...IF it is a cold sore.

Abreva dries it up the fastest. I'd recommend it, but it is a little pricey ($10). If that's an issue, try Campho-Phinique, it also works good with a price of $3-5.
