Ecc 9 is telling of how he views it. He is frustrated with life and sees it as a waste of time... and to just go out and eat drink and be happy...for tomorrow we die - is the sentiment there.
But there actually is mention of ghosts in the new testiment.
When Jesus was walking to them across the water - they were scared and though he was a ghost.
Matthew 14:26
When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.
Mark 6:49
but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out,
Luke 24:37
They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.
ONE OF THE BEST IS THIS
Jesus himself is saying this - so he clearly believes in ghosts - Judge for yourself.
Luke 24:38-40
38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." 40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet.
PS - i do believe in ghosts, spirits, demons, and angels.
There is WAY more to this world than when meets the eye. I have been through some pretty strange things with living in a haunted apartment and all. I have absolutly no doubts (personally speaking) that spirits AKA ghosts do exist.
(seeing it refered to in the Bible - only serves to back up what I already knew though) :)

What's the Holy ghost then? I believe in Angels and demons I pray to Michael the Arc Angel to keep the demons away. Seeing ghosts on TV always made me think they exists even though my parents used to tell me they were a camera trick so I would sleep when I was younger it still made me skeptical though.

What we call ghost other than the Holy Ghost are demons that have taken on a characteristic or trait of something familiar to its surroundings - this is not in contrast to the Bible or Jesus would not have had demons to cast out of people, as well as, they linger to trick us into believing that we are being consoled by a loved one, etc., and that gives them a way to get into our minds.

I agree with your question - statement. The Bible says, "that after we die, is the judgement." I don't believe that people come back, if there is something that comes back it would be a demon pretending to be a ghost.

The Bible is correct-- Many really don't care what you believe simply becasue you do not have enough world experience to know--- and obviously, you have very little Bible knowledge.

Ghosts are really demons trying to scare us and take our attention away from seeking God.
