I live in the US & I like it...although I don't really like the state I live in (mainly because of the weather in the winter), I enjoy living here...

I used to live in Cape Verde (my country of birth) and moved to the US about 2 years ago...I must say that I like Cape Verde way better because the crime rate is almost innexistent; it never snows (the weather remains almost the same all year round_sunny with high temperature_which allows peolpe to go to the beach even in December); school is more fun over there; there's a lot to do; people are friendly; the beaches are beautiful; everyone gets along; etc.

I love the fact that there's no segregation based on financial status, or any other type of segregation for that matter...people with better living conditions do not set themselves apart from the ones who are not as financially stable...which is a great thing...everyone hangs out with everyone. Even politians and their families hang out with the "lower class"...

Just in case you don't know, Cape Verde is a group of 10 islands off the western coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean...the languages spoken there are Creole, Portuguese, French, and a little bit of Spanish (English is also spoken there, but mostly in hotels and stuff like that); we were a Portuguese colony for a couple of centuries, but we gained our indepence in 1975; many people consider us African, but if they do so, they might as well consider us Portuguese, Brazilian, etc. because we are a mixed race (you'll find "white" capeverdeans; mulattos; really dark skinned Capeverdeans; and everything else in between)

Hope I gave you enough information...lol
:)

Also, almost everything is relatively cheap, compared to where I live right now...& the government is not so bad

I live in the United States of America, and I love living here. I love everything about my country except the partisan politics right now.

Yes i do....O Canada! Haha its great..we are a very multicultural country filled with opportunity and chance. We have freedom of speech and an awesome health care system that ensures equality among various social classes. Here I am on even ground who those of different race, religion and wealth and i love that. We are afterall known as the peace keepers.

I'm in North Carolina in the USA I love living here.
I have the mountain or the beach on each side of me. It's warm in the summer and cold in the winter. It snows here but HOT in the summer. The least I like about living here would be the heat waves .
I love it here.
:)

USA. Frankly, I wish I lived in Canada. USA is just okay. Prez and government sucks, economy is so-so, and we've made a name for ourselves as the 'world bully'. Don't get me wrong, it's better than living in, say...Cambodia, but it's not the greatest on the darn earth, that's for sure.

Canada is the best place to live regardless of what. I hate living in Ottawa because its the capital of politics and politicians can't deicde what to do.

I rather live in Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Montreal because of cheaper taxes, less expensive houses/apartments or condo apartments/townhouses, and better jobs to get.

the united states of America

and there are times...when i wonder if life would be better else where...but often enough it's a case of the grass is greener on the other side.

just have to remember this is where my family is and i have family who fought in many wars for our freedom...and i can't just put that aside.

i am thank full for my rights...and privileges in my life and country
