I had to talk to a nutritionist while I was pregnant and she told me that it is the same as drinking water in terms of calories. I get sick of drinking the non tasting stuff after a while so why not get yourself to drink more of it by adding some flavor.

Your better off drinking water. If you don't like the taste of water try decaf tea. I think it still contains aspartame. Read the side effects cause by aspartame. If it's made with Splenda now. Drink it occasionally but don't ever stop drinking water.
