Okay, so i have this kitten she's about 6 weeks and is from a litter of 4. She's all black and when we found her this morning she was just laying there. Now shes laying here stretched out on her stomach panting, her eyes seem to look like they're rolling into the back of her head and her head keeps moving back and forth. I'm not sure if shes havin seizures or what? What could be causing this and what should I do for her? I don't wanna see my baby die..

If you have not been to a vet yet as all others have advised try what I normally do with my 5 cats when any one is sick. Though I am a retired Engineer I know homeopathy as hobby, Ginve the cat Connium - 30, one drop on the tongue, homeopathy works on animals also and gives quick results, give thrice a day, I believe it will be ok. My one cat once showed similar symptoms i gave same medicines, it cured in one day. I dont know the cause as homeopathy goes on symptoms not causes. I treat my close friends and family with this metod. For future remember if bad tummy of cat or dog give podophylum-30 in similar way, i have tried it also. good luck. If any other other help ask me.

Take her to the vet right now!!!! She could be having seizures or other serious problems. Handle her gently and keep her as cool as possible. To play it safe you may want to wear a thick pair of gloves in case your kitten may have rabies. Get her help now!!!
Good luck and I hope she makes it okay.

hi, this is going to require a vet visit. this could be something, from rabies to poisoning. do no longer wait to take her in - go NOW in view which you do no longer understand if she'll be extra constructive contained in the morning. placed on thick leather-based gloves and doubtless some sleeves and placed her in a cage. in case you do not have a vet specifically written down, seek for the closest animal scientific institution. lots of the solid ones will cope with an animal regardless. solid success! :)

You should take her to a vet. ASAP!!!! She could be having seizures, a heat stroke, or like someone else said, rabies. It could be a number of things. Very carefully pick her up (with towells or something so that your hands are protected) and put her in something you can take her to the vet in. Try to get her in ASAP like I said, it could be a number of things and a vet is the only one qualified to help you out.

That sounds very bad, and you should definitely get her to the vet ASAP. Since you "found" her, you don't know where she's been. It could be dehydration and/or starvation if she hasn't taken anything in all day since you got her - which could account for the progression. I hope it's fixable, whatever it is. Good luck.

My cat does this. It could be Asthma... My oldest cat Sophia has asthma attacks. Avoid perfumes, cigeratte smoke, smoke in general. contact a vet they may need to check lungs and blood. If it has only happened once they it could have been electrical shock. any wires at all can give shocks.... call a vet better safe than sorry :S

I don't have a clue as to what is wrong but I'll bet you dollars to donuts if you don't get the kitten to a vet quick enough it will die.

Is she dehydrated? Try to give her some cold water. Stick your finger in the water and see of she licks it off her tongue. If she gets any worse, you should head for an emergency vet office.
