I have a guy friend and we are real cool, only I want to make it something more official ( we act like we go together, but we've never acknowledgede it) without scareing him off or pessuring him. How do I (being a girl) bring up something like that with him

Wow. Good question. Seriously it's good can you get points for actually asking something coherent and intelligent???
Anyway, You need to be real subtle about this.
#1 you can just sleep with him but that could obviously backfire big-time
#2 next time your out just introduce him as your boyfreind and see what his reaction is. if it fails you can say "oh, i didn't mean like that" if he seems responsive to it just smile at him.
#3 you don't elaborate on your physical relationship. just try to kiss him if you haven't.
#4 tell him you think you are falling for him. put it just like that. that way you can reel yourself back if it doesn't go over so well. Say exactly that "I THINK I'M FALLING FOR YOU AND I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD."
that would be perfect.

Here is the problem with that. If he doesn't want to take that step of a commitment, then no matter what you say, he is going to feel uncomfortable.
If he doesn't mind making a commitment, then just say whatever it is you feel and things should be ok. If he starts to get all jittery or shut down, then drop it and accept the fact that he doesn't want to commit to you.
You know him better than we do so do what you feel is better. I've been thru this many times before.

Here's what I would want from you: I would want to know what you think of me truly. Do you want to date me as a crush? Do you love me? Chances are he at least likes you, and however long you've been friends may depend if he loves you or not. I would also want it to be casual, as long as it's the right girl, it can be the wrong technique, and most guys will still be happy.

Why are you in a hurry? Is your biological clock ticking? All I'm saying is be patient. If he truly feels the same as you do, then he will make the move. You have obviously shown him some interest. It will be worth the wait.

you take him out on a date bring him flowers and all the whole nine yards and you pay for the meal. make sure its some place cozy and ask him the question im sure he will know where you are going with the conversation after all of those preperations...

you don't want to TALK ABOUT IT...
You want to CREATE BEHAVIORS that LEAD to it.
If you want a commitment and he doesn't... you risk alienating him.
