When i sat at her lunch table she would sort of stare at me and then when i looked that way she would look away.
On the bus she acts mean in a flirty sort of way. On the other hand i am sort of overweight and i wonder if she is afraid to tell me she likes me. We or at least I really have fun just talking with her every once in a while on the bus. And when we talk on the bus she seems genuinely interested in my life.

Take care cuz girls sometimes do this as being nice and they could even slightly flirt or seem to do it, out of friendliness too..so if u want to be sure just drop some more hints in ur talkin', like say that u want to go to a certain place(new restaurant, movie..anything) and see her reaction, she might be straight forward and tell u tht she'd love to join.

It seems that she truely likes you but then again you didnt share much about her.. she my like you and is afraid to act on it due to the fact she is afraid what others will think of her.. It is a girl thing.. If you really want to know then I say next time you get to talk to her just ask, why is it when I look at you, you look away, is it due to you like me and dont want anyone to know or what.. Or just say Hey I like you I want to always be friends but if there is a chance for us to go out I would like that chance.. Please dont talk to me if you just want to be friends and feel wierd that I told you i like you, I just want it in the open.. or something like that..

Well, there's no way to tell for sure, the only way would be to ask her. Sometimes, both girls and guys don't really know what they want or who they like, and they may be trying to decide how they feel about others. The only way to tell is to honestly ask her, "Do you like me, and if so as what?"

she probably does and dont want the other kids to know or she just cant tell you cause she is shy talking is different from asking to some people good luck lol

She likes you but she doesn't know how to show it. I've been there with my boyfriend that's how we hooked up because he always used to pick on me and show me extra attention. If you like her you should go for it and if you do email me and tell me how it went.
