if your relationship that hasnt been very intimate or strong lately and your girlfriend grew interest in someone else, it wouldnt be as bad because she wouldve left you with the iintention of staying true to you and not being sneaky
as far as breaking up and dating someone else a day later is horrible. i dont see how someone can have such low of a concious to do such a stupid thing. its not that hard to realize exes hav feelings too. its incredible what stupid things people do for love and how the ones youd never wouldve thunk, stab you in the back

If she ended your relationship, then it's good that she is learning who she is sexually. Good thing you weren't married.
If she just bailed for the evening, don't worry. No big deal.
