This is just a guess but maybe one time awhile ago you felt nervous from something that happened before you went to bed and now when it is time to go to bed you relate that past negative situation. What is it you are exactly nervous about? Is it the quietness or the lack of moving around or is it the thoughts that might pop into your head while you are trying to fall asleep? I ask these questions because i can remember years ago feeling a similar way. I was fine all day too but after awhile in the back of my mind i dreaded having to go to bed. It took me some time to figure out what it was that made me feel this way. I did what i could to make a soothing bed time ritual that relieved my anxiety, like taking a bath. I have read having a TV in the bedroom isn't good for you but tough poo. I have a fairly large size TV in my bedroom and that helps me fall asleep, i just set the timer before i go to bed so the TV isn't on all night. I also have the ceiling fan on almost all year round even when the AC is on. I also wonder if you have a difficult time relaxing in general. I noticed for me it wasn't just bedtime it was anytime i had to sit still or be somewhere in silence.

hey scared. Alot of people are scared of the night time. So don't feel alone. Try and think of nice things when you go to bed and remember that you are still here and will still be here tomorrow. Talk to God and tell him you are scared and see what happens. Even tho you are scared you wake up in the morning, right.

You need to seek help from a psychologist. Maybe you've had a bad experience in the past that has caused you to fear going to sleep. You feel like you want to stay awake instead of going to sleep. There is something in your past that is still haunting you. You need to talk with a professional to help you resolve it.

On a christian note, the Bible says that you could have a spirit of fear. This spirit should not make you afraid, justtell it to go in the name of Jesus. If you believe in Jesus it has to leave.
