Yes, as an employer, I see it as a sign that the applicant is truly interested and will follow up. Both signs of a good employee. Make sure the card is recieved within two business days.

Sending in a follow up and thank you note is becoming more and more popular these days. It lets the employer know that you are interested and actually want to work there. If it is a professional office, I would suggest doing it as it will make you stand out from all the other applicants.

Absloutley! If the interviewer feels the same way that you do, then a thank-you note from you will not only show her what a wonderful person you are, it just might seal the deal for you!
By all means send the thank-you card ... today, if you have the time. Good luck!

I would say don't send one. I know a lot of the others have said yes, but what if you don't get the job? Either they like you after the interview or they don't. A letter is not going to affect whether you get the job or not. You can tell them personally if you actually get the job, but if you don't it would just be a waste of yours and their time.
P.S. Good luck!

I follow up letter is now the distinct method for making you stick out of the crowd of potential employees. Even if you don't get the job the follow up will stick in the memory banks of the office that receives it and you never know when a different better job in that company may open up.

Yes...you definetly should.

If there were lots of applicants for the job it will take time for them to process the applications.

If you send them something to remind them of you and thanking them for their time it is always a good thing.

Just make sure that the note is professional, but friendly...

Good luck with that new job!

YES! You must write a "thank you note". Don't you want the job and show interest?

Yes it is a good idea. It may be the difference between getting the job or not.

Yes–but be creative. Make it unique and they'll pass it around and everyone in the office will be talking about it. Even if you don't get the job they'll remember you.

You don't actually know it went well until they tell you wether you got the job or not. If you did get it then you can say thanx by working hard.
Good luck
