...and what topic would that be? Are you trying to suggest that war is fought over nothing? In that case this question is very clever, but not all battles were fought over nothing, and I would go even as far to say that the majority of battles have some purpose, especially when it risks your own life.

-just because you post your question in the Religion and Spirituality section doesn't mean that it is a topic at all being discussed. In fact there are no discussions which take place at all, people just post whatever they want! Like our useless opinions! =) Have a nice day!!!

I was under the impression that most battles are fought for political and/or economic reasons. For instance, the American Civil War, the French-Indian War, the Afghanistan War.
