I was a pediatric dietitian. you are not way overweight. An ideal body weight for women is figured at 100 lbs for up to 5 ft, then 5 lbs for each additional inch. Therefore at 5'6 an ideal weight would be 130 lbs. This was considered a bit tough because it takes nothing else into consideration (i.e. muscle vs. fat). So now we try to use a range for IBW or use the new BMI (body mass index) to find out if your overweight

Is that 10 stone? You are within the correct weight range for your height. Do you feel unfit? Don't you do psychical education at school? YOu should be feeling okay when you do exercise. If you feel unable to do it ( not breathing properly or something) go for a check up with your doctor.

Get a healthy diet for example, if you eat tuna fish sandwish with the wheat bread,also green salad, but follow up with a glass of grapefruit juice. If you don't get satisfy eat red apple.Good Luck

im 16..2 months from 17 and i am 5'4 and 130lbs..i think i need to lose 5-6 lbs ..but just to be satisfied with my self..try taking a short walk everyday, to tone yourself..cut back on pop and junk food...that 'll do the trick..i think you fine..but its not what other people think..its whatever you are comfortable with.
