As a group, Jehovah's Witnesses are the only true Christians today. The Scriptures indicate that Jesus personally instructed his disciples to go door-to-door. Besides the Witnesses, who else is working to perform the same type of work in our day?
An even better question asks: What did Jesus personally say about any who would disregard that important work?
(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest. 3 Go forth. Look! I am sending you forth as lambs in among wolves. ...16 “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards [also] him that sent me forth.”

It's just like any religion. There's many misconceptions about this religion though. I've studied many religions trying to find one that made the most sense and this is the only one had the most answers to my questions. They're attacked for their beliefs, and because of what others think they believe in. My father was a Jehova Witness, but never pushed his beliefs on us, rather he let us explore other religions and find what best suited us. If you want more info on what they believe and common misconceptions, I've included links below.

I used to work with a lady who was a Jehovah Witness, and she was a lovely woman. Worked with her for 11 years. She was friendly, always willing to help, and very pleasant to be around. We had a lot of laughs together too. We never discussed our differences in what we believed. We just accepted each other for who we were. The world would be a lot better off if we could accept people for who they are. I personally don't agree with the beliefs of Jehovah Witness, but a friendship is not worth losing over disagreements. Somehow I knew I couldn't change her, and I think she knew she couldn't change me either, so the subject never came up.

The JW's are a group that follows flawed doctrine.
The JW's are told that they can earn or work their way into Heaven. It's written in the Bible that you CANNOT earn your way into Heaven. You can only enter Heaven by believing and accepting as Lord, Jesus Christ. The JW's only believe that Jesus was just another man and prophet. They don'y recognize Jesus' deity, sinless life, death for payment of mens' sins and his ascension to the right hand of the Father where He still is today.
The JW's use a translation of the Bible called the "New World" translation. This "bible" has been twisted by former leaders of the JW's to give credence to their promises and beliefs. When you ask one about that translation they counter with "what translation do you study" and they say that your version was translated to meet the beliefs of the person who translated it.
They have many times in the past given an exact date for Jesus' return to earth which have ALL come and gone. Jesus said that NO MAN knows the appointed time when He will return.
JW's are very knowledgeable about biblical happenings and are the epitomy of most religions because of their success in converting people. I know a guy who knows his biblical history inside and out. I feel badly for him because all his knowledge is being used in vain because he will not see God's glory.
The JW's also talk of the 144,000, or 12 tribes of 12,000. They believe they will be this group of people who will be left on the earth to live in "Paradise" after Jesus has established His kingdom on the earth. Trouble is, the 144,000 refers to the original 12 tribes of Hebrews in the Old Testament. The term 144,000 also refers to the number of Jews who will be spared during the tribulation and time of great suffering on the earth. The Jews are God's chosen people and He will see them through. The JW's try to get you to think you can be one of these 144,000 and "live forever in paradise".
Sorry my misguided friends, the outcome shall be very different than the one espoused by the folks in Brooklyn.

Any body that does not believe Joh 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
JWs are one of many Antichrist,The ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER IS
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
In Christ in Love,

TO SUM UP WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY: THEY ARE A CULT.
Jehovah's Witnesses are a bunch of gnostics who change the Bible all the time. They take the Bible out of context and try to tell you that your Bible is messed up. Any regular Bible has multiple sources from manuscripts dating back to early A.D. from all around the world which all have the same message. Like the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Masoretic Text, the ben Chayyim, the Septuagint, Textus Receptus for Instance. JW's read their publications from what their Watch Tower Group publishes. Their Bible is highly distorted and their perception of the Bible is very contradicting. They are also very anti-government even though many of them enjoy their fredom living in the United States of America. However you can find your local witnesses throughout the world in little concrete shelters they call Kingdom Halls. Forget about converting though because it is too late!!! There were only 144,000 spots available in Heaven and somehow they all got taken up by people they call the "elders" who are referenced to belong to the tribes of Israel, even though all of them hold no resemblence to any Jew. The rest of the JW's will be held in some type of "sub-heavens" in the afterlife. They also don't believe in a Hell where there will be "weeping and knashing of teeth," but instead believe Hell is a state of non-existence. All I have left to say is: boy will they be surpised when the famous words told of in Matthew 7:21-23 are said to them "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, ' I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!"

They like just about all other Christians take a Jewish religion, change it to some extent, and adapt it for themselves. Their understanding of it is better than most Christians' though.

why say bad things about us Jehovah Witnesses when you don't know anything about us. we have families and problems just like anyone else. we cry and laugh and have fun just like anyone else. why don't you get to know us. you may have a Jehovah Witness living right next door and you would not know it. we live in your neighborhood just like you do. we shop in the same stores also. the last man who wrote about us, is wrong. he does not know what he is talking about. we believe in Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Leader in our Kingdom Halls all over the world. we pray to Jesus Christ everyday. we do believe in Jesus Christ. we are not a cult, a cult is in one place, we are in 235 lands. we live in our own homes and have our own cars. a cult lives in one place and worship a man, not God Jehovah and Jesus Christ

I think it's perfectly fine. There are good people everywhere. Even if they don't celebrate holidays. I'm sure they're good people, for the most part!
