My cousin had a baby and he is A- and she is B- . is it possible for the baby to have O+ type?

it could be type o for sure but i don't know if it can be positive, i would think it would have to be negative but you could ask your doctor
they should do a test for that anyway because if the baby is positive and you are negative it will cause your body to attack the baby as a foreign object, they have a vaccine for it and so is rarely a problem

No, the RH element (useful/destructive) has no longer something to do with blood form. O is a recessive gene and A & B are codominate. To have an AB new child the father and mom might would desire to be between right here mixtures: AB+AO, AB+BO, AB+AB, AB+AA, AB+BB, AA+BB, AA+BO, AO+BB, AO+BO. If the father and mom are AA+BB then the youngster could have the AB blood form. With AA+BO or AO+BB there's a 50/50 hazard of the youngster having an AB blood form. With all of the different mixtures there is basically a 25% hazard.

Yes it's possible, type A and B pass on the O gene as well.

the grandparents blood type may have something to do with it
