The word Religion comes from the Latin language meaning
"God tie" or Relationship with God.
As per the Old Testment Abraham had a close relationship With His Creator. He was friends with God.
Man tends to make a god of his own. And he worships that . Even prostrates down to the point of exhaustion.
He talks and receites poetry to that fictitious god ;but it not Our Creator . Hence he gets no response.
That person has closedd his ears to our Creator. The reason is that he talks to a false God ,and never listen to the Real God that the Bible calls the God of Israel. Whom he has sent his Son so that whosever believes in him Has Eternal life.

Those who do not, they have eternal separation from God.
So they have to be in a different location called hell. And this Hell for these Humans starts on earth and when they die it gets worse.

I'm the founding and only member of the Second reformed church of comparative mythology. I had one Convert at one time. My son but when he learned to talk he converted into a christian.
At that time the church was simply called the Church of comparative mythology. His conversion caused a schism in my mind and the council of elders in my head decided to rename the church. We made it through those tough formative years. I can say my religion is the best. You cannot escape it no matter what you call your God he is my God and allows you to call him/her whatever you want. He is older than time and really does not Give a **** about what little tribal trinkets and rituals you use. He is not a winy little wuss God who cant handle it.
So Ill be knocking on your door to give you some literature. So lock your doors and pretend your not home.

I am Christian, I believe it is best for me, I was raised by an atheist mother and Catholic father. Religion was not allowed in my household. I was in my 30's before I found my way. There were a lot of beliefs and questions in between but Christianity felt right, fit right, and has proven to be great for me. As a Christian, which others may not agree, I feel everyone has to find there own way and their own faith in order to feel comfortable and confident in their beliefs.

I am a secular humanist. My mother's side was Catholic. My father's side was Wisconsin Synod Lutheran, LDS, Moonie, Episcopalian, Baptist, and Evangelical Lutheran.

I really hated everyone telling me to practice THEIR religion. I hated people telling me that my father was going to hell because he wasn't Catholic. I hated Lutheran ministers preaching God's report card that Lutherans would get a grade of 99 or 98; Catholics were barely passing at 70 and that the rest of the world's religions would flunk.

I think God put us here to be nice to each other and not condem someone for worshipping in a different building.

I mean no harm, but your question is dangerous. Why? Cause I believe every belief is something personal. There is no real measurement which one is better (or perhaps the best) than the others.

I am christian because I feel very comfortable with it, not because it is the best or superior than others. Every believe on this earth is good, as long as it does no harm to oneself and others

Just my 2 cent of thought....

^Having tossed religion out with the bath water years ago, I've been living a happy, meaningful and fulfilled life ever since. Why, in this supposed age of science, education, enlightenment and reason is this a question that even deserves debate, let alone support? Ah, well. We must have our myths.

Christian, because catholics believe in worshipping the cross with the figurine of Jesus on it and that figurine is a false idol, and it is a sin to worship false IDOLS. I believe it is the best because I am a paranormal researcher who believes purgatory is here on earth in a parallel dimension of space and time travel. I also have had an out of body experience, but my cousin who had one told me he saw Metatron (the protector of Christs chair when he's not sitting in it) and then when he failed to take an orb gift from him, he was shown hell below his feet with tormented souls in a cyclone of fire. By the way... I'm dead serious.

I have no religion. My thoughts toward religion is a weakness toward humanity. it brings false beliefs and corrupts many. One reason for all the problems in the world are caused by false beliefs. and any who say different have become slaves to false beliefs. The world was created by scientific means, which humanity will discover in the future.

I am Catholic. It is the best religion because it was the only Christian religion founded by Jesus. The other Christian religions trash just like their founders.

I am a christiain and I am part of C.O.G.I.C ( Church of God in Christ). We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to achieve salvation. What is so special about my beliefs is that it's not just a religion, it a lifestyle. I know I would not be as happy, successful or content in life if it wasn't for Jesus Christ and I urge you to try him too if you are searching.
