Sorry, but the whole no sugar, no carbs thing is all wrong, in my opinion. At some point, your body has to have SOME fuel, and carbs are that fuel.
The safest thing is called moderation.
With that said, I'm with "allknowing"....American Red Beef for me, too, please, medium rare!

All I know is that carbs and sugars are the only real outside sources of energy our body has (we don't photosynthesize), so if you want to be a couch potato avoid those carbs! Seriously, the best diet is eat what you feel like, and by that I don't necessarily mean what's cheap, but we have cravings for a reason... But whatever you eat, keep EXERCISING! Sodium is also important to our bodies; it's one of the more important mediums through which we regulate the amount of water in our body. If you're worried about pesticides and growth hormones, well, you probably have good reason, but if you look it's not usually too hard to find good food even if it's a bit pricey.

Yeah, I heard that. Right now I'm favoring the Blue Bunny Fat Free / No Sugar Added vanilla ice cream. 80 calories for 1/2 a cup. It's really good too! I make my own ice cream sandwiches using the low-fat graham crackers. They satisfy me and make for a great treat. Try it out.
I also eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Everything that god put here on earth can't be all that bad... haha. ;)
Good luck finding them! And... if you do, be sure to tell us about them.

Here is a thought. buy the stuff raw and make your own, then YOU get to decide what's in it. Everything has sugar carbs and fat in it though. its supposed to have that in it its natural.

In the 1950's the big chemical companies convinced consumers and government that it was OK to put their chemicals in our food. Its up to people like us to re-educate everyone we can about the truth. Those chemicals are killing us.
MSG=Mono Sodium=a derivitive of bromide=a gas of salt=a pesticide=a chemical weapon.
Its the same stuff, just in a slightly different form.

meh!
any half sane nutritionist will tell you that its not abotu what you eat, but how much you eat and how much excercise you do.
cutting something out completely just make you want it more.
have a little bit at a time..
when was the last time you took tiny little nibbles of chocolate and savoured the flavour, instead of just devouring whole blocks at a time.
SAVOUR THA FLAVOUR SUCKA!

Dave Letterman said 'you take mineral spring water, boil it in a kettle and the steam that condenses on a kitchen tile, you're allowed to lick that...'
And that's where we are heading.
