no your gross you need to stick a soapy towel in your belly button and wash it. then when you stick your finger in it what will you smell ? fresh not what ever it was that grossed you out.

I have smelled it when cleaning my belly button. It smells terrible.

I had the same problem and the only thing to do is wash it out when you shower, then make sure you dry it well. Make sure to keep it dry thoughout the day.
