Use spray gel....and apply it to every curl seperately, then scrunch!

Mousse has a high alcohol content so it tends to make your hair very full...which is great if you need volume. Obviously you don't. Use a curling lotion or gel formula designed to prevent frizz. It will weigh the hair down more and it won't frizz. I like Aveda's Be Curly. Aveda's Sap Moss products are also good on curly hair. I believe Bumble & Bumble also makes a curling lotion. John Frieda also has serums, shampoos and conditioners to prevent frizz.

Try the Frizz-Ease line by John Freida. You can get it at Target or any drugstore. I use all of it - shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, anti-frizz serum, mousse, (then scrunch upside down with a towel) and hairspray, in that order. I know, it's a lot and really high-maintenance, but it works REALLY well. Try not to touch it while it's drying and don't use a blowdryer if frizz is a really big problem.

You have to brush and dry it that way or use curlers when the hair drys it shrinks and if you have no form it it will go back to it's origional form however if you blow it dry you control how it drys and you can style it as you go then accentuate with a curling Iron.
