I loved learning about the civil war, i was born in Atlanta and it is still to this day a big part of heritage in the south. I think its great for ppl to learn to because most ppl believe that the whole war was based on slavery and that is totally not true it was just a minor detail.

I always enjoyed learning about my country. But, I never knew what a one sided education I was getting until I joined a reenactment group. And now I get to live the battles I read about, as well as camp out every other week, play music of the period, dress real cool, and I am having the most fun I've ever had in my whole life.( I'm almost retired.)
