As it is written..."Instructions 22:44 As ye sod of thy neighbor, in accordance with custom, and with righteious hand, shall ye doth sod unto thine own self in plentitude. And I say, with full inflation, that your rewards will be blessedly unwieldy, in kind."

By size of sin I guess you mean severity of consequences. Stealing a neighbor's sod is not as severe a form of theft as say stealing a 5000 painting, but the fact is, stealing is a sin, and the problem with sin is not only that it hurts others, but that it hurts you. You are taking something that belongs to someone else. Therefore, you are setting the stage to reap the same, in some form at some point in the future. You are chipping away at the integrity of your own conscience, and violating God's best for you.

A sin is a sin no matter if it is stealing a penny from somebody or committing murder. So, stealing sod is a sin. How will your conscience deal with it? What would happen between your neighbor and you if you got caught or he/she found out? You decide. Nobody but you can make that decision. Good Luck.

Sin is Sin, there is no such thing as big or small.

Why don't you just ask your neighbor how to get sod like theirs and get your own the normal way (you know, either buy it, pay a service to get it like that, or put in the work required? Seems like a lot better option than ohhh, getting arrested for theft.

Why not just ask the neighbor if they have any extra sod you could have.

he is your neighbor? and he is not going to know you stole his
sod? Also it is your conscience that will tell you how big of a sin it is
that is what hell is in my opine all the sins that you committed in your life. God will let you know how you disappointed him in your life time.
and your going to feel the pain you caused other people in your lifetime,

Little sin. You could try just asking your neighbor to share a little.
Why do something that makes you feel guilty?

Don't know. Don't care. Why? Every one does except God of course he has to be the only .....Repeat ONLY ONE to be sin free and live into the perfect heaven for eternity.
