NOTE: I never asked "WHAT THE SPIRITUAL GIFTS ARE"...
I asked:
What are YOUR Spiritual Gifts (personally)...
that's why only Christians can answer. duh!

I think some people are getting mixed up in "Fruit of the Spirit" and "Spiritual Gifts"...
and no, I don't think you put in a request for certain gifts....I do think that God bestows "different gifts on different Christians" (according to his main purpose for them...) and I do think that over the course of time "SOMETIMES" Spiritual gifts change - not always.
My Spiritual gifts may not be the same as my friends.
My main ones for instance is Prophecy, Teaching, and Discernment...
My friend has the gift of Mercy, Encouragement, and Hospitality...
Another one of my friend's gifts is Pastoring, and Encouragement...
Yet another one of my friend has the gift of Giving, and
etc...etc...
I hope this helps to clearify the question...God Bless.

Paul mentions some 20 spiritual gifts in his letters.
in Romans 12:4-8 Prophecy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Giving, Leadership, Compassion.
in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11Prophecy, Healing, Miracles, Tongues, Interpretation, Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith, Discernment.
in 1 Corinthians 12:27-30 Prophecy, Teaching, Healing, Miracles,Tongues, Interpretation, Apostleship, Helps, Administration.
and in Ephesians 4:7-12 Prophecy, Teaching, Apostleship, Evangelism, Pastoring.
I'm not sure that this list is exhaustive, and certainly some Christians would disagree on some of those included in this list. There is some healthy discussion about whether these all these gifts still appear today, or if some were only for the time of the apostles, and have since died out.
As for me, I can see some of these spiritual gifts in me, and as I'm training to be a Church of England priest, at least a couple of them seem to be absolutely essential!
Have they changed over the course of time? I'm not sure they've changed, rather that it's now possible to identify them, when previously I hadn't been in a situation where they were needed.
I have never experienced for myself some of the more 'charasmatic' spirtual gifts such as prophecy or tongues. But I have friends who have, and I believe that they are given to those for whom it is important to have them. It doesn't make me or them a greater or lesser Christian, we're just all part of the body of Christ, and we have different gifts that make up a complete whole - the church.
The Church after all is the bride of Christ, and his intended must be very special!

Helps , Mercy , Discernment . and they never change
They are given to us by God and By God alone you don't ask for one and get it. If you think you ask and get one your way off. also we have natural talents as well also from God but we have them before salvation then the gifts are given. Some believe that if you don't like have the gift of tongues or prophecy etc. for proof that your saved then maybe you need to work on that or maybe you don't have the Holy Spirit and probably not saved. This is a teaching not of God.

Music, administration, hospitality, wisdom, discernment, teaching, understanding languanges (interpretation of tongues), evangelism.
I believe my spiritual gifts were all in place from the beginning of my (spiritual) life, but as I have matured and developed them, and as I have used the amount I had, I believe they have been graciously increased by God. It's a fact: the more you do something, the better you are able to do it.

I am mercy motivated, I also tend to exhort (encourage) others, and feel compelled to teach the Word Of God. I think they (gifts) have balanced out the more I am in the Word. I believe we have to grow into our calling and giftings by submitting ourselves to God on a daily basis. Spiritual Gifts are abilities God has given every believer to equip, instruct, and edify the Body (the Church). In short mine are Mercy, Exhortation, and Teacher.

I even have in no way understood why human beings admit they're using yet another account because of the fact they have been blocked. that is frequently adult adult males who try this, yet for some reason those braintrusts do no longer understand how silly and immature they look. As for the different one -- combat fireplace with fireplace -- you would be able to make a suited criticism first. I discovered an prolonged time in the past to "no longer settle for" emails. Oh my, if I did, i will basically think of the dislike i could would desire to deal with...i will sometimes come off as snarky.

We all have spiritual gifts and special annointings. Each person go thru different trials and tribulations to stir uo the gifts u have inside. Everything that we go thru is not for us but for to help other people. your gifts should increase with time b/c u should always be getting closer to GOD. I have some and have not seen them all. If you like to discuss my gifts or my wifes, just email us. I would like to know if u have them and how u deal with them. BE BLESSED

I actually do know what the spiritual gifts are. Healing, faith, etc but... oops, I can't answer because I'm not christian, so I'm banned from here. How tolerant of you, Jesus must be proud.
Edit: Right, I forgot, because christians have super powers that no one else of any other faith has. No one other than christians have ever been good at listening, or helping the sick, or having faith in their own beliefs. Thanks for reminding me how much better you are than me, I nearly forgot, there.

I actually just took a quiz online to find mine just a few days ago. Apparently mine is music, followed closely by teaching. I don't think it's changed over time for me.
