ok, i lost 10lbs. in 2 wks by eating one meal every 3 hrs (under 300 calories each meal), and drinking tons and tons of water....they actually say that drinking half your body weight in water a day is a safe amount. But you can't eat anything...remember, keep it up to 300 cals per small meal. But, you would be suprised by what you can eat for under 300 cals

How fast somone's metabolism is, is not based on how much they weigh. It is based on how much muscle you have. So 2 people weigh the same. One has 60 pounds of muscle and the other has 80 pounds of muscle. The latter burns 800 calories more than the former daily. Every pound of muscle you add to your body burns an extra 40 calories per day.
Consider 2 heavy celebrities: CA governor and Richard Simmons. The former burns a lot more calories than the latter. A pound of fat burns no calories.
While you are exercising, your metabolism speeds up. It is unknown why some can eat unlimited amounts and not gain any weight from a metabolism that can speed up to burn off any amount. (maybe genetic). Site below has more info.

I had the same question up myself but i got a good answers and read this article
-You should eat 5-6 small nutrious meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
-Eat breakfast
-Also you dont want to eat to little either. multply your weight by 11 or if ur active 12. thats how many calories you should be taken in to lose weight
- also did u know that if u drink 17 ounces of water it will speed up ur metabolism by 30% ?

Since you are 14 years old .. It seems u have lot of issues about you at this moment. I can understand that. Seems u are obessed about many things as i read at your posts. Enjoy your childhood at once.. but important that u t ake care of ur health. Dont Stress urself to become a grown up woman. U have lot of future ahead of you.. So take things at a time for some changes in ur life. Once enjoy yourself and watch what you eat.. thats it ! get in a sport activity or dance class. U will be fine

Exercise. Exercising accelerates your metabolism. Apparently, weight lifting is even more effective (you keep on burning calories after you're finished), but you should do some cardio as this burns calories while you're exercising

Eat every three hours. Good foods, whole grains(quinoa, kamut, spelt) veggies, proteins. Have smaller meals. average 400-500- for breakfast lunch dinner and around 100-150 for snack. Good practice to have proteins and carbs together. And of course, exercise.

Metabolism usually isn't something you can gain, it's what you're born with. Don't eat every three hours, you won't lose weight. Instead how about not eating so much (or whatever you want) and--gasp!--exercise! Don't have Mummy and Daddy drive you everywhere; walk, run, jog, bike, skateboard, skip, rollerblade, slither on the ground instead.

excersise and eat breakfast.....your breakfast should be steel cut oatmeal....3 egg whites and a small piece of fruit....cut out sugar
