I don't have all kinds of fancy pots and pans and stuff. So what would be the simplest way I could accomplish reheating these things to taste close to what they would when I bought them?

put them is a bowl, add some water, cover with cellophane, poke holes in the top, then microwave for a little bit. I really don't know, but it is worth a try.

Here in Japan we often re-heat Chinese dumplings that are filled with meat, it's known as a niku-man or a buta-man. If we can heat ones with MEAT inside safely, then whatever you've got should be okay!

We use the microwave, we put the niku-man on the glass microwave tray, then put our plastic microwaveable dome over the top to keep the moisture in. You could always put them on a plate, and cover them with saran wrap, but leave a few gaps around the edges.

How long we heat it for depends on the size ... but if you start at quite a short time ... if they're about 2 and a half inches tall try 40 seconds for one, or 1 minute and 10 seconds for two ... and break one open to see if it's hot inside! That's the important thing - that they're piping hot inside!

I don't know about normal steaming though, but I'd guess that if you can find something to steam it in it would take anything from 20 minutes upward. Steaming takes a lot longer than microwave-ing, unfortunately!

Once they have gone cold you can NEVER get them to taste anywhere near as good as when you bought them. If you don't have a steamer, the microwave is your best choice. Put the dumplings in a deep dish, sprinkle with water, cover the dish with cling wrap, pierce the cling wrap a couple of times with a pointed knife. Nuke on low setting and turn the dish often until you get the dumplings to serving temperature.

Use the paper towel-microwave treatment, but the time is 15 sec/each standard dumpling. That is the variable.Small minnys, reduce the time, not the temp. Microwave on "high".

wrap in a paper towel and sprinkle with water, microwave for only a few seconds at a time till you know the correct number of seconds. I would guess in increments of 10.

You could try reheating in the microwave--don't re-cook; reheat.
