Set the time. You can do this by looking at the VcR's owners manual and folowing the instructions. I think you should also have a correct clock near you. It's okay if it's a minuite or two off. It is probably blinking like that because you had a black out or somthing.

Buy a strobe lite that blinks at the same rate, it'll may it appear as though it steadily shows 12:00
