Drinking too much cola isn't un-healthy in itself, unless you are consuming too much. The amount of liquid calories in one can of coke can really add up if you are not physically active. As there are absolutely no nutrients that your body needs in a can of coke, it is empty calories; which can cause you to gain weight.
The diet versions or lite don't have the same calories, but they do contain aspartame, and other chemicals which you may want to consume in moderation.

And like any other food / drink item...... NO, it doesn't have any health hazards provided you consume it in MODERATION.

Just look at at Warren Buffett..... 2nd richest man in the world after Bill Gates, 76 years old this year, and is reputed to get through 15 cans of the stuff a day.

A LOT of Coke and Mountain Dew. Pretty much all I drink, and I'm fairly healthy-- rarely do I get sick.

My philosophy is eat (or drink in this case) what tastes good.
