Does anyone posting here actually expect a serious answer?

seriously?
i feel quite bad for the people that are looking for genuine answers, does it ever happen?

Yes, I do believe there are lots of serious answers in this forum. I don't know how many serious answers are in this particular category, as it is not my favourite category and I find a lot of shallow seeming people here, as well as often very young teenyboppers asking questions that should really be in another forum somewhere else, such as "How do I know if a boy likes me?" "What is a French kiss?" "Have you ever 'done it' before?", etc.

You have to remember that Yahoo! answers is still very young. And the crowd seems to be young as well. But for many of us that are veterans of usernet and groups for over 14 years we have seen this before. It is a process and it has to run its course. There are many of us that answer with best of intentions to share all that we know. For us this is what society is suppose to be working towards, a tool that allows us to integrate into a higher collective consciousness. Imagine if any question you had, you could get it answered in a relatively short period of time and not only that you could ask for advise and guidance of people that don't have any self interest other than to see you succeed. We are incomplete without you, we need you just as much as you need us. Share your knowledge it shall grow. If you answer with best of intent and purpose then your questions shall be answered with useful information.

I give serious answers as too me they are serious questions, often from teenagers and young people who should have been taught it in the first place. Im graphic as its necessary to cover the point probably though may be me in trouble.

I don't answer what I don't think I can honestly.

Probably yes,although hopefully they are not stupid enough to read and let idiotic answers that some do post,effect them.
I try to answer in the best possible way i can from my experience in life,and hope it helps some one some where.
I know they read and forget as soon as they leave,but it is worth a try to improve this world and peoples lives.

not a serious answer but some one elses view on a currant problem really ,you will find that a lot of ppl here are going through the same problems as everyone else and they find some help here not all are serious answer but they still help in some form

I think it's a little of both, if you sift through the crap and jokes you can usually obtain the answers you're looking for.

all THE ANSWERS THAT ARE ANSWERED ON ANSWERS ARE ANSWERED BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE GIVEN ANSWERS ON ANSWERS SINSE ANSWERS FIRST ASK US TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ON ANSWERS some of the answers are serious answers answered from answers given in answer to your question, some of the questions are not answered because they don't know the answer but the few answers that are given by people on answers are answers given in answer to your question. IF THIS DOE'S NOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION THEN I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER!!
