They are ready to leave the mothers at 8 to 9 weeks old is the best the give them away because the now eat dry food and not need the milk from its mother

When eyes and ears open.Best time is when they wonder from the mother.About 10 to 12 weeks,if this is too long at least 8 to 10 weeks....and make the kittens have a long perid of time with their mother without you standing in the room!!

6 to 8 weeks is ok but i would wait 3 to 4 months myself.

ideally at 8 weeks, any younger like 6 weeks is ok but they can develop bad habits if there mother isnt around long enough, ie-using the litter box.

i would say between 6-8 wks, i got my two cats when they were supposed to be 6wks but the vet said they were much younger and they seem to be fine though one of them has had kittens 3wks ago and i wont give them away until about 7wks until i can see they are feeding ok

Kittens aren't really old enough to be given away.They are just maturing .Basically they grow at their own speed!*TIP* stick a bowl of wet food out there to see if they nibble at it.Once that is all they eat or such small amounts of milk ,they're ready!
