If you don't already have one, get a court order. It should have been part of your divorce. Don't wait for him to give it to you... ask them to take it right from his paycheck. If you call your local child support agency, they should be able to get it done for you. I went almost 2 years without it when my ex didn't work. He started getting Social Security Disability, and they took all the back support out of his first check, and then the regular amount every month. That is the ONLY way I knew I would get it from him. I agree that you need a court order. If you already have one they should have given you a correspondent to communicate with. I just went 18 months without child support and a court order the whole time. He is not mad because he has to pay current and back child support.
Who ever you do correspond with make sure they have as much current information as possible.

You'll have to keep filing petitions with the court system until they make him pay up, they'll most likely garnish his wages, then he won't even have a choice in the matter. The money will automatically go to you each time he gets a paycheck.

Every state now has child support agencies. You go to them and have then do all the leg work. He has to pay and the support agency is there so that you won't have to use state funds for your children.

Take him to court say you need the money and if he refuses he goes to jail.

you take his a$$ to court and let the take it out of his check. that way you don't have to track him down and he can't skip out on paying it.

either take it to court or you really need to hunt him down, and let him kno he needs to pay
