Show no interest in the person when they are trying to get your attention. Give them a little attention when their efforts start to slow down. If they start trying to get your attention again, act like it is no big deal and almost ignore them again. Do not act anxious or reveal that you have any interest in them.

That's easy. TRy not to return calls, or ignore the person a little bit. Act as though you are not really interested but flirt occasionally.
