Well, I don't know how long it would take for a person to get addicted to Alcohol. I am guessing that it would depend on the person, and their tolerance for it. My father was introduced to alcohol when he was 9 years old by his father, and has been an alcoholic all of his life. I don't know the exact point when he became addicted, but he is now 64, and is STILL drinking everyday, ALL day. I wish I did have more information on the addiction of alcohol. I might go and look it up now!

No one times it, or tries to become addicted, they just do. It starts out by drinking pretty regularly. One a day. Then it grows to 2 a day. Maybe 3 a day. Can't go a day without it. Etc.

But honestly, it would probably depend on the person how long it would take to become addicted to anything.

If you are an alcoholic (a condition that can not be recognized until drinking starts), you can become addicted on the first drink.

The body takes a while to develop an alcohol dependency. Alcohol isn't like Nicotine, just drink responsibly and you'll be okay.

For an alcoholic only one drink. In my book it is best not to start. No good can come from it in the long run.

It really depends on the person. Some people are prone through genetics to be addicted, and others my have a high tolerance. Just be careful either way.
