You can get them at petland, petco, petsmart, walmart, meijer. However you should be very careful when using these. I would really suggest especially if your cat has allergies to fleas that you take it to the vet and let them recommend a medication. Often when cats have allergies these over the counter meds can cause reactions such as rash hair loss and itching. I know because it happened to one of my cats

My aunty feeds this to her Shiba Inu.Really though the dog food market(higher quality) is starting to expand the limited ingredients food & I am really excited about that.Like with my dog she can't have anything with three grains or more so for her anything with two,one or no grains at all is even better. An example would be Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet,Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain,Wellness Simple Solutions,Solid Gold Barking At the Moon(is what I call a herbal mix because it's just fish, with minimal beef & the rest is herbs/vitamins),Nature's Variety is coming out with something similir to the first few I've mentioned..Others are California Natural,Healthwise(made by Natura Pet which was recently bought out by P& G in 2010 so some people choose not to feed it others still do)

the worse thing to do to your cat is to give that over the counter junk! It's a well known fact that the stuff doesn't work.
More importantly it has been known to create many health problems including death.
Call up your local vets office and ask how much a single dose of advantage cost's, It should run about 9 bucks, not a bad investment for your kitties health.

i have heard horror stories about cheap products, though more expensive I'd go with frontline or something from your vet. if your cat has an allergy to fleas than you might like the idea of garlic most cats don't mind the taste and in my experience it repels fleas very well. just mince it up and mix into your cats food.

garlic works awesome! (put a little in their food) Fleas dont like the taste it gives their blood. A lady that used to baby sit me growing up had a poodle that was severely allergic to fleas. that worked the best without the side effects of OTC.
FYI.. otherwise your local pet store or Petsmart
