Less than just about any other method of transportation. Think of it for a second, car crashes for example, occur every single day claiming hundreds of lives. This is not the case for aircraft, however, there are less planes than there are cars. You might also want to specify your question. What the odds are out of the blue, or what the odds are under trivial circumstances.

D'ya mean the odds of dying in a plane that's crashed? Or being in a plane and the plane crashing? The former is somewhere around 95% fatal. The later...... pretty slim. Air travel's the safest way to go from A to B.

Well, if you ever do happen to be in an airplane crash, your odds of dying are pretty good. But then again, your odds of being in an airplane crash in the first place are somewhere between winning the lottery and being struck by lightning, so I'd say your chances of surviving your next airplane ride are pretty good.

About 100 times less than being involved in a fatal crash on your way to the airport.
