We had one already on May 1st. I actually enjoyed it.
I went shopping and had a nice day with my family. Of course, there were Americans of Mexican descent doing the same. Fine by me. To me, if you call yourself a Mexican(any other nationality), and not an American, I won't miss you at all.

I don't think the majority of people want a "day without a Mexican." What they want is forever without any illegal immigrants - not just Mexican illegals, ALL illegal immigrants. Mexicans are a good and fine people and when they immigrate through the proper channels, they are a wonderful addition to American society, just like all legal immigrants from all over the world are.

Well it wouldn't be America without the Mexicans but seriously I would celebrate if all the illegal ones were gone!

We already had that and everything went on as usual except that our commute to work was shorter and we actually had policemen on patrol rather than not seen at all cause they were in the 5th Ward taking away the bad guys.

Sorry, Mexicans wouldn't be missed.

I'm sure you have nothing against Mexicans and you really meant Illegal Aliens.

In which case I may decide to visit LA and actually be able to get around without traffic.

I guess if they were all gone I'd be gone too. We'd probably all be at my house in the backyard drinking cervezas and eating bbq.Damn that sounds like a good time.Maybe that what I'll do when the illegals are all granted amnesty.Want to come?Your welcome.I'll have guacamole!

Honestly, I would be sad and maybe cry, because my husband would disappear. but then I would remember that my friend's boyfriend and baby would disappear too, so we would probably do something like go out, but we couldnt go out to eat, maybe we would make food. Then go shopping and maybe dancing like we did before we met them. It would be sad, but if it was like in the movie and only for ONE day, it would be like a little vacation. The house would stay clean! I want to make it clear that I dont want it to happen, but the movie was silly in the way that it showed Americans not being able to do anything for themselves, maybe rich people in California are like that, but here in Missouri it would just make going out to eat impossible.

Make my own Mexican food, I make great tacos, better than the restaurants.

Already had one. Did not make a bit of difference other that less traffic, and I got to spend extra time with my family.

Anything I wanted, there would be no one in L.A. to see!

To be real though, we kind of had that when the immigration protests were happening, and it wasn't really that big a deal.
