My five year old has a birth mark on the top of his head it is white and his hair color his brown.He got made fun of it for a year and i need to know how to help him.It really upsets him please help before he goes to kindergarten.

Tell him the birth mark makes him special because he is one of the chosen few with one like it! Tell him it is an angel kiss and leave it alone!
He is going to have it the rest of his life so he needs to get used to it!

I really don't think there is a way to hide without getting it surgically removed or having him wear a hat all day long. If anything, try teaching him that what he has on his head is special and makes him unique - you can try the old, "those kids are just jealous of you and have nothing else better to say to you." I know it must be tough for him since he is so young, but that's my only suggestion. Good luck!

you can buy a color mousse for his hair if it is a different color than the rest of his head. its only a temporary thing.. but doesn't have any strong chemicals that will hurt him it washes out with every shampoo but maybe that will help.

You can always have it removed.
