No Mercedes model has or will have for the foreseeable future an engine from GEMA.

The Dodge caliber engine was designed and manufactured by GEMA, or Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance, which is equally owned by Chrysler, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi. Chrysler did take a lead role in the development of engine design and technology, so it's possible there are traces of Mercedes influence.
