We threw my niece one at an inlet. Not sure where you live. But it was great! we had A huge blow up bounce slide and the ball thing. We also had the water right at our finger tips. Was great wasnt to deep 2 inches for like 10 feet the gradually got deeper from there. Had a great bbq. Plus everyone can bring there seadoo's and boats and pull right up into the inlet. Or they can just drive.

Okay, he's turning 2, or is he turning 1? I would suggest Chuck. E. Cheese, MacDonald's, Burger King, or a smaller diner or restaurant in you area. Most children enjoy Chuck. E.Cheese, but you also must be old enough to actually understand the concept of 'fun' there. McDonald's, or Burger King is a great place for a birthday party, not only because it is bright and party like, but because the food is there and you do not have to worry about older children being bored. At a local diner, or restaurant it will us ally be a little more pricey. You also have to make arrangements longer in advance. Good luck! Happy Birthday!

At your house, in your backyard. Buy over sized balloons and rent a clown. Truthfully, your baby won't remember the party and a party like that is for the adults more than the child. Take lots of pictures with your child, that way when s/he grows up they'll know you loved them. Other than that. Buy champagne and caviar and celebrate your first successful year at parenting. It's your party too!!

The park, Chuck E Cheese, and I think places like Discovery Zone can hold parties.

At this age, it doesn't really matter where the party is, because they are to young to remember it or to really care. If you don't want to have it at your house, have it at a nearby park or Chuck E. Cheese is fun. It is fun for a wide range of ages.

For my son's first party, I had it at home. Only because he was too young really to enjoy places like Funland or Chucky Cheese's.

We had my sons at the local park that had equipment that was about his size. and had finger food, juice, and plenty of balls and toys that he could play with.
