I'm quite quirky when it comes to traditional romance. I'd like to give my guy flowers, but I'm not sure if it would be socially acceptable or if it would be seen as a little weird. Also, I wouldn't know what to pick- obviously nothing that looks or smells girly. Any suggestions?

If you're feeling a little wierd about the "flowers" you could always send him a plant--ivy or a spider plant or even some really cool cactus. I sent my husband a bonzai ficus and he absolutely loved it! He's also the kind of guy that is all "manly" and wouldn't at all want to seem "feminine." All the guys that he works with also think it's a really cool plant, so....there are options.

If it is an expression of love, give him red rose(s). Frankly, flowers do not carry the same meaning (of love, emotions etc) for the guy the way they do for a girl, unless ofcourse the guy is really gay. One red rose (max) and a tickets to a movie, or a coupon for blockbuster, a nice t-shirt or any other "practical" gift is what guys love to receive. Ask him what he likes and try to get him that or a coupon to that store. Go easy on flowers though.

Dep if he has hayfever... Guys would prob prefer a venus flytrap and flys as it would be like a gadget.

This advice is for over 17s ish ok...Uk age of con is 16.

You could always have the flower down your top and see if he can get it out...

Or stick the flowers to you... dude may prefer that if not allowed to use hands...

Dep on you two if you are that sweet too.

Guy would prefer a pole dance, ride on a harley, concert tickets, signed baseball, something that makes him look bad boy etc.

I'm a married guy, and my wife used to give me flowers when we dated. I like flowers, and I garden. Usually just a bunch of wildflowers, they have no scent and don't look girly.

It's absolutly okey. Forget about everyone else. If you feel like giving flowers and if you think the guy you want to give to flower to will like that. Just do it.

I think white roses will be hot!

I love recieving flowers, its it totaly unexpected, but a beautiful thought,it is not often it happens, and although maybe not acceptable by most, due to peer pressure or being called a sissy or such like, but it don`t bother me.

Something nice and simple like daffs or tulips. How about a bonsai tree. Better still a pack of bulbs or seeds
