For my wedding, we got full sheetcakes, and they fed 94 each. (That's the typical wedding size piece... adjust if you want a larger/smaller serving). So... I'm guessing a half would feed around 47.

15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1 inch sheet cake will feed 24 people, which is considered 1/2 a sheet cake.

It would depend on the size you cut the cake, Im thinking like 24. I just ordered the cupcake cake and it comes with 24 cupcakes and its the same size as a half sheet.

about 40-50 people I just had my daughter's baptism and I ordered a half sheet for 50 people and there was still some left over

about 25-30 depending on size but usually 25-30 is the going figure

Figure on pieces being 4" x 4" if you are generous, 3" x 3" if you are stingy.
