It's fine if that's what you want but it's not very creative. I also think it's weird that so many people give normal sounding names to pets and choose zany names like "Apple" or "Kalel" for kids.

If it's a boy kitten and you both like the name and you think he would like the name, I don't see a problem with it. Have fun with your kitten and good luck! Kittens that grow up happy and healthy make wonderful cats and friends to us humans.

kittens are awsome. i have a kitten, and i asked some of my friends what to name her. now her name is Boo. she is sooooo sweet. ask some friends if they like the name, because some names might be bad, but there may be some exeptions. like, i know that Boo isn't a great name, (my brother always calls her by her middle name.) but it suites some specific cats, like mine! in my opinion, Chuck isn't a great name, but i've never seen your cat. it may suite him perfectly!

i think it is a cute name if it is a boy kitten and if it is a girl kitten that is named chuck than sad to say no if it is a girl kitten name her lucifer

I think that name is really cute (for a boy kitten) My cat is named T.J.(Tiger Junior) for no reason! We didn't even have a cat named Tiger!

The main thing is: Do you like the name? If yes, and you don't mind your brother's selection, then Chuck it is. But if you don't like the name, find another one.

I dont name my cats until about a week after i have them.... All cats have personalities so I name mine to their personalities... IE
Sophia-she is the princess of my house
Hermione-Small part manx sneaky little hunter
Charlie- Attention hungry athlete
Teddy-Cuddly bear who sucks on clothes, while they are on you
Molly-Big round cat who acts like a toddler
Arthur- Big grey who likes to sleep on people...all the time
Toby-Adventurous who like to watch the toilet flush
New baby- I got him Friday. now is Sunday I havent named him yet becuase I'm still getting to know him :)
