I'm 18 years old, 5'2'', of medium frame, and weigh 110-112 lbs. I run 5 to 7 miles a day but only take in 1100 to 1300 calories. But I never feel hungry, I have to force myself to eat meals. Is this abnormal?

My weight isn't staying at 110-112, I'm losing weight with all the running. Since it's probably not healthy for me to lose any more weight, I'm trying to eat more, but it's hard not to feel like a pig when I'm never hungry.

NO IT IS NOT NORMAL. I GO THROUGH THE SAME THING. U HAVE TO GET YOUR-SELF ON A SCHEDULE SO THAT U STAY HEALTHY. TRY STARTING ON SMALL THINGS FIRST LIKE A BANANA FOR BREAKFAST AND A SMALL LUNCH THAN A SNACK 2 HOUR BEFORE DINNER. HAVE A LIGHT MEAL. U HAVE TO FORCE YOUR-SELF TO EAT EVEN THOUGH U R NOT HUNGRY. IF U DON,T U MAY BECOME SICK AND UNHEALTHY. SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT IT. U MAY A MEDICAL CONDITION. SOMETIME IT COULD BE YOUR THYROID.

if you run 5-7 miles a day and your weight stays at 110-112 lbs, i'm guessing your estimated caloric intake is wrong. if you only eat 1300 calories a day, you should experience some serious weight loss especially running 5-7 miles a day. So, I think you should go back and check the calories for everything you eat...
getting back to your question, you should feel hungry at least some times....sometimes i just force myself to snack on stuff to make sure i get enough calories but i'll still get hungry if i go long enough w/o food. so short answer is yes...you should feel hungry.

i am not a big runner but i get hungry a lot like 2 times a day which is around breakfast and lunch but i would think its OK. but if your stomach hurts after a while i would eat something for dinner or snack because that is your body telling you that you need food.

I really dont know but my little sister eats (doesnt eat) kinda funny too. She will pick for a few days and then she will eat three squares meals and go right back to picking. Listen to your body and go to a doctor.

You should talk to a doctor about the way you are feeling. If you are eating snacks and drinking all the time nevermind but other wise you may be annarexic.

No, its not normal. You should feel hunger. How do you know when to eat, if you don't get hungry?
